Returns – Right of Withdrawal:

We want all our customers to be happy with the products purchased from our webshop. If you are unsatisfied with the product you ordered, you may return unused goods within 14 days (after you have received the goods). 

The item(s) you wish to return or exchange must have been purchased through www.gearfex.com

For a refund, the returned item(s) must be unused, clean, in its original packaging, along with all instructions, accessories, and the original barcode and tags attached. Items, which you have only used insofar as this is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item (e.g., trying on clothing to see if the size fits), are considered unused. However, if you use the item beyond that, you are still entitled to withdraw from the contract, but you will be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from this use and your refund will be reduced accordingly. If an item is damaged or not returned as stated above, GearFex reserves the right to refuse to accept your return.

Please note:

  • We do not provide free returns. The return postage is at the customer’s expense. We will not accept returns, which have been sent postage free. 
  • Valid proof of purchase is required for authorization of all returns and exchanges. Kindly include a copy of the invoice we had emailed you after your purchase. 

Return process:

  1. Before you return any products please contact us under: support@gearfex.com 
  2. After the return has been approved by GearFex, please put item(s) back in its original packaging and add a copy of your invoice (your received a download link with your invoice in the shipping confirmation email) OR add the packing slip (the one with the 3 QR codes that came with your shipment). IMPORTANT: Only this way we will be able to assign the return to your account. If you are only returning parts of an order, please mark the individual items you are returning on the invoice or packing slip.
  3. Send items to the address listed below. As mentioned above, return postage needs to be paid by the customer. We recommend to send returns as an insured parcel and keep tracking information, as we will not take responsibility for lost return parcels.
  4. Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will check items and will then refund the purchase value. Postage will only be reimbursed in case of incorrectly delivered or faulty goods.

      Exchanges:

      We are currently unable to offer exchanges of products online.

      However, we do accept returns (see above). Please return the original product(s) in the original packaging (as stated above) for a refund and place a new order.

      GearFex Warranty:

      GearFex takes pride in offering you First Lite products and will stand behind their quality. We will replace any piece that's performance in the field has been compromised by a manufacturer's defect during the practical lifespan of the garment.  If your First Lite product is defective, please contact us under support@gearfex.com

      Terms of Warranty:

      • Under this Warranty, we warrant to replace First Lite items bought via www.gearfex.com whose performance has been significantly compromised by a manufacturer's defect during the practical product lifespan of the item.
      • The following defects are not covered by this Warranty:
        • Pilling, abrasion, pin holes or other cosmetic wear and tear which does not affect the performance of the product;
        • Rips, punctures, and burns caused by normal field use;
        • Products that shrink or are damaged when laundered outside of the specifications listed in products Care Guide and Washing Instructions;
        • Defects of products caused by misuse of the item or by the customer not following the maintenance instructions in the Care Guide.
      • Items purchased during sale periods, or at a discounted rate can only be returned for a store credit.  

      What Does Practical Product Lifespan Mean?

      • Practical Product Lifespan means the usual and customary expected wearable life of the product, given its use and its exposure to wear factors. The Practical Product Lifespan does not mean for your lifetime, or an indefinite period. The way the product is used directly impacts the wearable life of the product. Materials will deteriorate and fade over time and moving parts will wear with use. First Lite products are designed to be used and to perform in the field, as long as products are not misused, and care instructions are followed carefully.
      • Normal wear and tear that is to be expected given the type of product, the nature of the use of the product and the nature of the issue involved and the age of the product are not covered by this warranty.
      • We may require you to provide information on your use of the item to determine whether a defect is covered by this warranty or whether it is not covered as it is normal wear and tear, taking into account the Practical Product Lifespan.

      Warranty Procedure:

      • Please make warranty claims via email (support@gearfex.com) and kindly include your invoice or customer number in the email and follow the return process described above.
      • Warranty authorization and replacement is subject to review of the claim and the product by GearFex.
      • We do not provide free returns. The return postage is at the customer’s expense. We will not accept returns, which have been sent postage free.

      Warranty Replacement Items:

      If your warranty request is approved and the item in question has been discontinued or updated, your replacement item will be sent in a comparable product or a store credit will be issued for the original purchase price.  

      Warranty replacement items cannot be backordered.  If an inline item is approved for a warranty exchange and inventory is unavailable, a store credit will be issued for the original purchase price.

      The above does in no way restrict or limit your statutory warranty rights regarding faulty or incorrectly delivered products. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further detail. If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, please also contact our customer service team under support@gearfex.com.
